Raviele, M.D. The Evangelium Vitae Award recognizes outstanding service to the Pro-Life Movement. Dr. Raviele, a retired OB-GYN from the Atlanta area, has been involved with the CMA for many years. On Sunday, Sept. 7th, the Church will celebrate the canonization of two young saints, Blessed Carlo Acutis and Pier Giorgio Frassati. Both provide incredible witness to young men that sanctity is possible through charity, chastity and concern for the poor. CMA Opposes Recent Petitions to Loosen Safety Regulations for Mifepristone
August 11, 2025 4:40 pmThree citizen petitions seeking to loosen safety provisions related to telemedicine chemical abortion were recently submitted to the FDA for consideration. The Catholic Medical Association, the largest association of Catholic physicians and healthcare professionals in the United States, opposed all three petitions, calling for further restrictions based on the most recent national and international findings outlined in the position statement released by CMA in June entitled, Telemedicine Chemical Abortion: A Catholic Medical Association Policy with Recommendations. This position statement describes the numerous problematic impacts of telemedicine chemical abortion, with recommendations to eliminate or minimize such effects. Join Hallow-CMA Novena for the AEC
August 11, 2025 5:40 amThe Catholic Medical Association has teamed up with Hallow, the blockbuster Catholic prayer app, to offer a Surrender Novena for the 94th Annual Educational Conference (AEC). The novena will be voiced by Jonathan Roumie, the actor who plays Jesus in The Chosen.
